Most "All Yesterdays"-entries on Deviantart are about speculative interpretations of extinct animals. Most people forget about the part of the "All Yesterdays"-Book, where future reconsturctions of our present animals are featured.
Not long ago, I read an article about Spinosaurus, and the autor states, that the vertebrae-extensions on it's back don't look like they are part of a sail, like Spinosaurus most time is portrayed, instead he thinks they are for insertion of large muscles, like the vertebrae-extensions of modern bisons are.
So i thought, if our scientists can mistake Spinosaurus muscle-insertions for a sail, why shouldn't future scientists make the same mistake with fossils of bisons.
The rest of the body is inspired by the cow from "All Yesterdays", the focus is on the sail.

Update: The Bison-hump is, as far as we know today, very unlikely for Spinosaurus, see here. Which doesn't mean that future paleontologists couldn't make a mistake about bisons.
